Two-time Grammy winner Laufey headlined Season 14 under the "Emberlight" banner, bringing a jazz and classical-pop sound with a romantic, vintage look. Included with Fortnite Crew, the Music Pass instantly unlocked a White Dress Laufey Outfit and finished with a Golden Era Laufey Outfit, both based on looks from her "A Matter of Time" tour. A three-act playable experience called "A Matter of Time" took players through a surreal, enchanted castle. This is the biggest gameplay update Festival has had in a while: real-time singing through your microphone, actual drum kit support, and the Battle Stage getting removed for good.

Season-Thema

Warm, golden, and romantic, matching Laufey's vintage jazz-lounge aesthetic, with the enchanted castle setting of "A Matter of Time" giving it a fairytale quality — a softer, more intimate tone than Season 13's medieval camp. Given how much this season overhauled actual gameplay, it plays as much like a technical turning point for Festival as a themed content drop.
