Supernova Academy tied into Chapter 6 Season 3's superhero theme, built around an original sci-fi academy setting rather than a licensed IP. The pass grants the Sonia Outfit, a student character with sci-fi styling, and its 30 rewards build out a whole campus across three major builds: the Supernova Academy Main Hall, a Research Base repurposed from a spaceship, and a Training Facility built inside an aircraft carrier. The real headline of this season, though, was LEGO Fortnite Expeditions, a brand new four-player co-op mode set at the Academy where players fight off the villain Mask Maker Daigo using one of three Hero Classes. A later update in July added a new Supernova Academy mission map plus a Bestie Fest event over in Brick Life.
