The meteor finally hit. Dusty Depot became Dusty Divot, a crater surrounded by a government research facility and scattered Hop Rocks, and Risky Reels' drive-in theater came back alongside brand new Hero Mansion and Villain Lair landmarks. The original Shopping Cart, Fortnite's very first vehicle, made its return too. The season's biggest moment was the Blast Off live event on July 26, a recreation of Fortnite's first-ever in-game event, complete with a rocket launch that tore open a Crack in the Sky, though Epic added a few deliberate twists this time around rather than a perfect copy. The 45-tier OG Pass brought back O.M.E.G.A. Suit Alpha, Street Wave Teknique, and The Visitor, tying the whole season together with a hero-versus-villain movie framing.
