War broke out between The Seven and the Imagined Order, and this season delivered one of the biggest structural changes in Fortnite's history: Zero Build launched as a permanent, fully separate mode. Sprinting and mantling were added to base movement, giving the game a faster, more athletic feel even in the normal building mode. Tanks and an Armored Battle Bus rolled into the mix, and Doctor Strange headlined a Battle Pass that also featured Prowler as a later unlock.
