Allt om Fortnite OG Season 6: Darkness Rises

Kevin the Cube rose out of Loot Lake, creating a new Floating Island above it and renaming the lake itself to Leaky Lake. The season leaned hard into Halloween, timed to line up with real-world Fortnitemares, bringing back the Haunted Castle, secret basements hidden in Wailing Woods cabins, and a Halloween-themed makeover of Fatal Fields. Cube fragments scattered around the map started spawning Cube Monsters, adding a real PvE threat on top of the usual matches. Midway through, the Floating Island exploded and sent players into a strange new space called The In-Between. The season ended dramatically when the Dark Voyager destroyed the Battle Bus, actually taking the mode offline until Season 7 launched in December.

The season ended with the Dark Voyager destroying the Battle Bus, temporarily taking the mode fully offline.

Fortnite's original cube-corruption storyline and its first-ever Halloween event, both rebuilt at once. The season's ending is one of the more dramatic in OG mode's run, actually pulling the mode offline rather than just fading into the next season, and it leaves an iceberg sitting on the horizon as a clear tease for the winter season ahead.
